I've been a State Farm client with Steve Vargo's agency for over a decade. Kyle has always been my contact there, and he's done a great job keeping my rates reasonable and making changes. Recently I had a half-dozen changes to my auto policy, and Kyle got them all handled quickly and accurately.

I don't typically write reviews, but getting my car insured here has been one of my worst experiences with customer service. I started doing business with them last year. For six months, it was great! When the policy was up for renewal, I got a notice in the mail saying that my policy was going to be terminated, even though I had made all my payments on time. I called Kyle just to be told that they needed A LOT of personal information about my siblings and parents (none of them was on my policy and some of whom were not even old enough to drive!). I submitted everything, and they still increased my quote saying that "it was reviewed by underwriting after the cancellation date." I grudgingly renewed my (more expensive) policy. A few months later, I got two more notices in the mail saying that I my coverage was going to end even though I had the auto-payment option set up. I had to consistently call the office just to wait 24 hours or longer and be told that they messed up or that I had to do "a manual payment." They never communicated any of those requirements nor notified me directly about the coverage expiration. I even had to spend time riding Ubers because they took days to confirm whether my policy was active. I should have sought coverage somewhere else at this point, but still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then, two weeks ago, I checked on the State Farm app that my policy had increased by 25%. Once again, they increased it without notice, and also grouped 3 monthly payments in a single charge. When I called them to inquired, I only received useless answers ("it is the people in upper management, not us").Caitlin offered to put the next payment on hold and assured me that, if I canceled my policy by 09/16, my car would be covered until the 22nd. Accordingly, I called to cancel on 09/09. When I checked the State Farm app (to no one's surprise), I saw that my car was not covered as they had promised. I called again just to hear more empty words and finger-pointing. I just wished they had been honest from the beginning and had not misled me into thinking my car was still covered. Overall, I had a terrible experience doing business with this branch. They offer little transparency, poor communication, and make clients responsible for the staff's mistakes. Save yourself money and a lot of frustration by going somewhere else.
